British specialist re/insurer Beazley has rolled out its e-trading platform, myBeazley in Spain.

Currently available only in the UK and France, the platform gives brokers access to treh company’s different insurance products such as management liability (ML), professional indemnity (PI) and cyber cover.

The Beazley Breach Response (BBR) is a part of the cyber cover. BBR offers different pre and post-breach risk management services to an organisation to deal with any cyber-attack or data breach.

In addition to customary financial protection, BBR package offers legal, data protection, forensic IT and PR advice.

Directors’ & officers’ (D&O) liability and crime and employment practices insurance covers for commercial organisations are also part of the management liability option. It also includes website recovery.

Beazley continental Europe – international financial lines regional manager Lorena Segovia said: “Beazley has applied its expertise in ML, PI and cyber insurance to create simple, specialist products that can be sold separately or as a package for brokers looking to work through an online channel to secure quick and efficient quotes.”

Spain myBeazley specialty lines underwriter and lead Francisco Antonio Alcaide added: “Using the platform, brokers can now quote and bind policies for businesses with a turnover of up to €350m without the need to speak to an underwriter and in just four steps.”

Last month, Beazley bought a 30% stake in Pegasus Underwriting, a Lloyd’s coverholder based in Hong Kong.
