Illinois-based insurance broker Arthur J. Gallagher has acquired Rogers & Young Insurance Services, a California-based diversified commercial and personal lines agency. Financial terms of the deal were not revealed.

Rogers & Young focuses on contractors as well as construction clients. The business was established in 1958.

Steve Rogers, Jeff Young and their associates will continue to be based at their existing location.

They will now work under the guidance of Arthur J. Gallagher Northwest region retail property/casualty brokerage business head Jim Buckley. He will be joined by Western region employee benefits consulting and brokerage operations head Norbert Chung.

Arthur J. Gallagher chairman, president and CEO J. Patrick Gallagher, Jr. said: “Rogers & Young has a great reputation and a strong leadership team. Its team will also enhance our client-service capabilities between San Francisco and Oregon.

“I am very pleased to welcome Steve, Jeff and their associates to our growing Gallagher family of professionals.”

Arthur J. Gallagher has operations in 34 countries and client service capabilities in over 150 countries.

Earlier this month, the firm acquired California-based Wheatman Insurance Services and New York-based retail insurance broker United Dealer Services.
