Illinois-based insurance broker Arthur J. Gallagher has acquired Rogers & Young Insurance Services, a California-based diversified commercial and personal lines agency. Financial terms of the deal were not revealed.

Rogers & Young focuses on contractors as well as construction clients. The business was established in 1958.

Steve Rogers, Jeff Young and their associates will continue to be based at their existing location.

They will now work under the guidance of Arthur J. Gallagher Northwest region retail property/casualty brokerage business head Jim Buckley. He will be joined by Western region employee benefits consulting and brokerage operations head Norbert Chung.
