AIA Hong Kong has entered into an exclusive partnership with global medical management. Medix provider to provide a personal medical case management service to Hong Kong insured members.

AIA said the initiative is “the first of its kind” and means selected AIA customers can have their medical case reviewed by a Medix dedicated medical case team, 300 in-house specialists and a global network of over 3,000 independent leading specialists to ensure they receive the best possible care available locally or anywhere in the world.

The insurers explained that a dedicated service for a minimum period of 3 months, available upon need 24/7 throughout the customer’s medical journey, and personal medical case management service gives AIA Hong Kong’s customers peace of mind by making sure they get the right diagnosis as fast as possible and the optimal treatment in their time of need.

Multi-disciplinary opinions

Medix will collect multidisciplinary opinions from different specialists and hold multi-disciplinary team discussions for the customer and recommend the most advanced, up to date appropriate, and holistic treatment plan to ensure accessibility and implementation of the best possible medical care.

Medix will also support customers in dealing with on-going treatments, side-effects, questions and will ensure that best quality care is provided throughout the customer’s medical journey.
