Germany’s insurance industry registered an 11.7% rise in IT hiring activity in November 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 17.32% in November 2021 when compared with October 2021.
Out of the insurance industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 13.65% share in November 2021, recording a decrease of 0.7% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Germany’s insurance industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 102.56% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s insurance industry in November 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 57.44% in November 2021, registering a 33.33% growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 24.62% share, an increase of 20% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 13.33%, registering a 62.5% rise from October 2021.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 6.67%, up 160% over the previous month.
Top five insurance companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in November 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 42.62% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s insurance industry during November 2021 over October 2021.
Allianz posted 119 IT jobs in November 2021 and registered a rise of 176.74% over the previous month, followed by Zurich Insurance Group with 36 jobs and a 21.74% drop. AXA with 7 IT jobs and Munchener Ruckversicherungs-Gesellschaft(Munich Re) with 6 jobs, recorded a 12.5% decline and a 100% growth, respectively, while Wustenrot & Wurttembergische recorded a decline of 72.73% with 6 job postings during November 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 68.72%, up by 30.1% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with a 16.92% share, registered an increase of 43.48% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 14.36% share, up 86.67% over October 2021.
