Digital lending platform Kissht has received a corporate agency licence from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDAI) to sell insurance products in India.
The company has forged partnerships with insurers such as HDFC Life, ICICI Prudential, Go Digit, and Aditya Birla Health Insurance to sell general, health and life insurance products.

Kissht will offer insurance products, alongside personal and digital lending, through its more than 10,000 retail merchants and 3,000 plus franchises across India thanks to the licence.
The company will provide accidental coverage, critical illness, and health insurance coverage to customers through digital platform.
Clients can also purchase mobile insurance or extended warranty through the company’s network of retail merchants across the nation.
Customers, under product insurance, will also be offered protection in case of accidental and/or liquid damage.
Furthermore, the company will insure loans that customers avail from its franchisee partners.
