Mitchell-Wallace is expected to join in the coming weeks.

She has held senior positions at OAK Global, Lloyd’s of London and SCOR, with experience in risk appetite, capital and exposure management, and regulatory matters.

She will take over the risk function after a formal transition from current CRO Vishal Desai.

Desai is set to move to parent company MSIG, where he will serve as international CRO on its new international executive committee.

Young is due to join the company in the third quarter of 2026.

His background includes senior technology and transformation roles at Virgin Group, Amazon Web Services and Transport for London, where he worked on large-scale platform, data and digital change initiatives.

Dart, who took on the role of CEO earlier this year, said: “I am delighted that Kirsten and Phil will be joining MS Amlin and my executive leadership team. They are both highly accomplished leaders in their fields, whose experience will provide great support and leadership to our business as we embark on our next phase of growth and development.

“Kirsten’s outstanding risk credentials and Phil’s track record in technology, data and innovation will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen the business and invest in our continued success.”
