Health and life insurer Vitality has announced a three year extension of its partnership with Olympic gold medallist Jessica Ennis-Hill.

Ennis-Hill, who became a Vitality Ambassador in 2013, will continue to use her passion for healthy living to encourage the UK to get active, while also sharing her experiences, offering practical advice and motivating everyone to take achievable steps towards lifelong wellness.

Vitality said its research shows that small improvements to activity levels can make a positive difference to people’s long-term health and through the extra nudge of incentives and rewards they can be encouraged to make healthy choices every day.

The life and health insurer said the partnership with Ennis-Hill will see her inspiring people to make more positive changes through a full spectrum of activity ranging from encouraging people to walk with Big Walkies, a joint initiative between Vitality and the RSPCA, to motivating them to run a variety of distances with the Vitality Run Series.

Vitality and Ennis-Hill will also be teaming up to create new events that aim to encourage people of all ages to get on the move. They will be called Jessica Ennis-Hill presents Vitality MOVE, and are due to take place in 2017.

She has done so much over the past three years to encourage people to start and stay on their journey to wellness.
