
The purchase covers the group and its clients, including 100 group clients and 250 individual and Medicare clients.
RGEB CEO and president Barry Cohn was quoted by Los Angeles Business Journal as saying that the company will meet with its new group clients over the next four weeks.
"This business further expands our market share in the Los Angeles area and represents an important step in our mission of becoming the premier employee benefits firm for small and medium-sized businesses in California," Cohn added.
With the acquisition, RGEB expects a 50% rise in revenues.
While ArcherWeiss provide insurance services throughout the Southern California, RGEB serves clients across California, Nevada, New York and Arizona.
