PoloWorks, a managing agent in the Lloyd’s market, has increased its use of DXC Technology’s Assure Commercial & Specialty platform after adding three new Lloyd’s syndicates to its operations.
Assure Commercial & Specialty is part of DXC’s cloud-based insurance solutions and offers an application programming interface (API)-enabled environment that uses AI and no-code configuration features.

The platform is expected to support PoloWorks by enabling faster establishment and scaling of new syndicates and providing tools for day-to-day underwriting.
Since 2023, PoloWorks and DXC have worked together to update syndicate processes through the adoption of this cloud platform.
The system removes the need for each syndicate to independently manage or maintain software, streamlining initial setup and lowering barriers to entry for new syndicates.

PoloWorks’ technology infrastructure now relies on DXC systems for scalability as it adds new business lines including services for insurers and managing general agents.
Through the platform, PoloWorks can launch new syndicates in “as little as a month”.
The Assure system provides insurance functions across underwriting, claims management, finance and analytics, using no-code configurability to adapt processes as required.
