Indian life insurer HDFC Life has reached a Corporate Agency (CA) arrangement with YES Bank to offer its insurance offering to YES Bank customers.
YES Bank customers across the country will now be able to avail protection, savings and investment, retirement and critical illness products offered by the insurer.
Commenting on the arrangement, HDFC Life executive director Suresh Badami said: “There is a huge potential for insurance coverage across life & health protection, savings and annuity products in our country.
“With our bancassurance experience we aim to offer a comprehensive suite of product solutions and best in class servicing, leveraging our investments in technology. We look forward to working closely with the YES BANK team for the benefit of their customers”.

As part of the partnership, HDFC Life and YES BANK will continue to focus on strengthening the digital and technology platforms to offer differentiated customer experience.
HDFC life is currently offering claims intimation process online, thereby allowing customers and claimants to avail the services from the safety of their homes.
In 2017, HDFC Life partnered with chatbot platform Haptik to launch India’s first life insurance chatbot, in a bid to help users choose the most relevant insurance plans and solutions.
