The firms plan to focus on different lines of business and the SGR protocol, which covers 85% of the market.

Additionally, the protocol’s collaboration is expected to enable the integration of other protocols such as claims (CICOS, SDP) and policy (FIVA, SINCO, SENDA) as well.

TIREA chief operations manager Carlos Sanchez stated that “the collaboration agreement with Duck Creek is part of our role as a “facilitator” partner of the insurance sector and support to the sector’s operational processes, ensuring neutrality in access, operability and quality of these services and their operational efficiency”.

In May 2020, Munich Re Specialty Insurance (MRSI) selected Duck Creek Technologies to create an advanced digital platform.
