Bharti AXA Life Insurance has introduced a new service that will facilitate claims processing for customers through WhatsApp.

“With this, claim submission is now a hassle-free process for a nominee of the insured as he/she does not have to visit the company’s branch for claim submission but only has to send a message,” the company was quoted as saying.

How to use WhatsApp to make claims

In order to use the claim intimation service, a nominee has to text the company their WhatsApp number.

The number will then be accessed by a dedicated team member, who will immediately respond to the nominee.

Nominees also have to upload the claim documents on a link shared by the claim team.

Nominees would receive the decision of the insurer on their WhatsApp number, with claim benefits credited to their bank accounts.
