AI-driven insurance technology provider CLARA Analytics has made several additions to its product range to serve each unique phase of the claim life cycle.

The newly configured offerings CLARA Triage, CLARA Treatment, CLARA Litigation and CLARA MSP Compliance.

The new CLARA Triage app evaluates multiple data points to determine the claim’s potential risk as well as cause of complexity.

It also helps detect who should handle the claim to attain the best outcome. The product aims to support the earliest stages of a claim.

CLARA Treatment examines a claim’s medical phase and offers data for handling an injury.

The data includes the type of future care needed, and the specialists with the greatest success, among others.

CLARA Litigation enables one to find the right attorney to litigate a claim and determine a fair settlement. All this is done using AI technology.

Its latest version assesses more characteristics related to the claimant’s attorney and the claim to identify the right lawyer for the carrier to resolve the claim.

CLARA MSP Compliance cuts down a Medicare-required process of estimating future medical expenses. With the offering, the process is said to take only minutes instead of the previous three to four weeks.

The technology assesses medical records, sorts out relevant data and calculates cost estimates depending on similar cases.

CLARA CEO Gary Hagmueller said: “We’ve spent a tremendous amount of time with carriers of all sizes, discussing the kinds of functionality that would help them most and where gaps exist in current insurtech solutions.

“Addressing these needs through innovation, CLARA takes AI to the next level. We’ve developed offerings that fundamentally change the way claims are handled, start to finish, and we will continue to drive the industry forward.”

Last year, CLARA Analytics raised $25m in a Series B funding round led by Aspen Capital Group.
