Life and pensions provider Aegon has signed a thirteen year contract with digital services company Atos UK&I to further improve the protection business processes and enhance customer experience for its 500,000 protection customers.

The agreement will see Atos managing all aspects of the customer journey from initial underwriting through to claims management for Aegon’s individual protection offering, which comprises life assurance, critical illness, and disability and income protection products.
