Slovakia’s insurance industry registered a 20.4% rise in IT hiring activity in April 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring increased by 6.07% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.

Out of the insurance industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 38.99% share in April 2022, recording an increase of 4.63% over the last three-month average share.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 59.8% in April 2022, registering a 15.09% flat growth over the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 17.65% share, an increase of 50% over the previous month.

3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 15.69%, registering a 45.45% rise from March 2022.

4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 5.88%, up 200% over the previous month.

Top five insurance companies in Slovakia’s IT recruitment activity in April 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Slovakia’s insurance industry during April 2022 over March 2022.

Swiss Re posted 89 IT jobs in April 2022 and registered a rise of 32.84% over the previous month, followed by Zurich Insurance Group with 13 jobs and an 8.33% growth. .

Junior Level job postings dominate in April 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 77.45%, up by 43.64% from March 2022. Mid Level positions with a 12.75% share, registered an increase of 44.44% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 9.8% share, down 33.33% over March 2022.
