France’s insurance industry registered a 28.7% rise in IT hiring activity in April 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring increased by 38.08% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.

Out of the insurance industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 6.15% share in April 2022, recording a decrease of 0.84% over the last three-month average share.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 39.08% in April 2022, registering a 21.43% flat growth over the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 27.59% share, an increase of 26.32% over the previous month.

3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 24.14%, registering an 110% rise from March 2022.

4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 4.6%, flat growth over the previous month.

Top five insurance companies in France’s IT recruitment activity in April 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 66.67% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s insurance industry during April 2022 over March 2022.

AXA posted 51 IT jobs in April 2022 and registered a rise of 34.21% over the previous month, followed by Covea Mutual Insurance Group with 10 jobs and a flat growth. SCOR with 6 IT jobs and Zurich Insurance Group with 4 jobs, recorded a 14.29% decline and a flat growth, respectively, while Allianz recorded a flat growth with 4 job postings during April 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in April 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 80.46%, up by 66.67% from March 2022. Mid Level positions with a 10.34% share, registered an increase of 28.57% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Senior job ads with 4.6% share, flat growth over March 2022, while Entry Level postings accounted for 4.6%, recording a month-on-month decline of 20%.
