AXA XL, a division of French insurance giant AXA, has added complimentary proactive services to its primary cyber and technology insurance plan to help businesses boost their cyber security preparedness efforts.

The company said that clients in their first cyber insurance policy year can select one of several proactive services from various pre-qualified vendors, such as Cylance Consulting, Kivu, NetDiligence Breach Plan Connect, Sylint, S-RM and Troutman Sanders.

The list of available AXA technology insurance pre-breach service includes consultations and assessments.

It will includes services for social engineering and phishing awareness; incident readiness; GDPR readiness assessments; incident planning and coaching; and payment card industry (PCI) compliance training.

AXA XL chief underwriting officer for cyber and technology in North America John Coletti said: “Cyber criminals are showing no signs of easing up.  Businesses can’t either.

“Given the continuously rising costs of cyber-attacks including data breaches and ransomware attacks, there’s no room for complacency in any business’ cyber security efforts. We’re pleased to help our clients tap into expert advice to improve their cyber security preparedness.”
