USI Insurance Services, a New York-based insurance broker, has acquired Massachusetts-based The Gaudreau Group for an undisclosed sum.
The Gaudreau Group offers commercial insurance, employee benefits, personal risk as well as financial services. The business tends to more than 6,000 clients in 14 states.
Commenting on the takeover, USI New England regional CEO Joseph Fico said: “We are excited to welcome the clients and experienced professionals from The Gaudreau Group to the USI family.
“By joining together as one, we look forward to continuing Gaudreau’s long-standing tradition of providing superior service to clients through the USI ONE Advantage, a unique platform that delivers innovative risk management and employee benefit solutions with bottom line financial impact.”
As part of the deal, the acquired firm’s president Jules Gaudreau will migrate to USI’s New England regional management team. He will now serve as the president of the Springfield office at USI.
