USI Insurance Services (USI), an insurance brokerage and consulting firm, has purchased Nebraska-based Marcotte Insurance Agency.

Marcotte was set up in 1927. It has been serving its clients across the Midwest for approximately 100 years.

As per the terms of the contract, Marcotte’s team of 48 staff will be absorbed by USI under the continued leadership of Marcotte’s President, David Bushey.

The takeover of Marcotte Insurance will further boost USI’s Nebraska-based expertise in retirement planning, employee benefits, commercial and personal risk services.

Commenting on the deal, Bushey said: “We are thrilled to be partnering with an established industry leader known for their employee benefits, retirement planning, commercial and personal risk expertise.

“Not only will our clients continue to benefit from the personalized local services they have come to expect from Marcotte, they now have access to USI’s expanded suite of best-in-class solutions, tools and national resources to help protect and grow their business.”
