Trucordia has taken over the assets of JJL&W Insurance Consulting, an employee benefits broker based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, US.
JJL&W was set up in 2020 by Jeff Joffrion, Troy Jones, Mitch Lansing and Jeff Wampold.

The company advises employers of different sizes as well as individual clients on employee benefits including dental, disability, life, medical, vision and voluntary cover.
Its work also includes assistance with funding strategy, compliance matters and administration.

The business also supports other local insurance companies, supplying consulting and service assistance and handling books of business for them.

Last year, Trucordia bought Global Financial & Insurance Services, a Texas-based insurance and financial services group.
Global Financial & Insurance operates in Dallas, Houston, Fort Worth, and Los Angeles, California, and works with clients in all 50 US states.
