Trip Mate, a subsidiary of Generali Global Assistance North America, has entered into a partnership with GroupCollect to offer its travel insurance services on the latter’s platform for tour providers.

GroupCollect assists tour providers and trip leaders in gathering all the passenger information & passenger payments needed to book group trips.

Under the partnership, Trip Mate’s travel insurance services will offered as an add-on for tour providers through GroupCollect’s platform.

Trip Mate chief commercial officer Kelly Sahner said: “This partnership is a natural fit for both brands.

“GroupCollect provides assistance to tour operators by simplifying the onboarding process for groups, while Trip Mate provides GroupCollect’s customers with the tools needed to help keep those group tours, frequently organized by schools, safe.”

The deal between Trip Mate and GroupCollect was brokered by Travmark Insurance.
