US-based insurance carrier Seeman Holtz Property & Casualty (SHP&C) has purchased Poplar Bluff, Missouri based First Choice Insurance Agency.
The acquired entity has been active in the Poplar Bluff, Dexter, Cape Girardeau, Wappapello, Doniphan, Neelyville, Perryville, and Caruthersville area for more than 20 years.
This acquisition is expected to boost SHP&C’s footprint in the Midwest region.
Seeman Holtz Property and Casualty president Marshal Seeman said: “We are excited to have Steve Phillips and his team join our family of companies. We have been working closely on a deal for some time. Steve provides us a platform to help us continue to build throughout the Midwest.”
SHP&C chief marketing officer Eric Holtz said: “We are thrilled to have Steve on our team. Marshal and I were roommates at Washington University in St. Louis. It’s great to continue building in Missouri with quality people.”
Separately, SHP&C acquired the book of business from Affiliated Insurance Managers, headquartered in Morgan City, Louisiana.
