The Reliance Life Insurance Company is set to roll out 25 new insurance plans beginning January 2014, which are designed as per Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA)’s new product guidelines.

Reliance Life Insurance Company chief executive officer Anup Rau was quoted by media sources as saying that the launch of new products will be a gradual process and will be phased out.

"We have received most of the product approvals from IRDA (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority) and will be launching these over the next three months," Rau added.

The company will primarily focus on traditional policies, and aims to file additional products with IRDA in the coming few months to provide a comprehensive product range across all customer need segments.
