Pacific Life has launched a new tool, The Tax Deferral Analyzer, to help advisors demonstrate the advantages of deferred annuities.
The tool features a point-and-click interface, using which advisors can quickly demonstrate deferred annuity basics with the help of a default investment scenario, as well as personalize the service with client specific information.

Pacific Life Retirement Solutions Division vice president Christine Tucker said most clients may understand the general concept of tax deferral, but few have seen an interactive demonstration of its power and understand its role in all three phases of retirement planning: asset accumulation, distribution of income, and legacy.
"The Tax Deferral Analyzer provides that demonstration and is incredibly easy to use," Tucker added.
According to Pacific Life, the Tax Deferral Analyzer is the first online tool to provide advisors with the option of demonstrating partial annuitization.
