Specialist (re)insurance broker Miller has made four senior hires to launch a new Marine team to build out Miller Korea.
KyungSeop (KS) Shim has been named head of specialty to lead the team, and he is joined by Justin Roh, Hana Jung, and Jayce Park, all of whom are former employees of Marsh Korea.
KS Shim previously held senior roles at Marsh Korea, including head of specialty and head of marine, with five years of running his own shipping business.
In his new capacity, Shim will concentrate on developing Miller’s marine insurance services in Korea.
KS said: “We believe that bringing Miller’s reputation for outstanding client service to this market will create real opportunity, and we’re excited to be building a dedicated team with expertise across both broking and claims.
“This is a great opportunity to join an independent business with a well-established international presence, and we look forward to getting started.”
