India-based Max Bupa Health Insurance has rolled out a digitally-enabled ‘everyday use’ health insurance plan, dubbed Go Active.
The new health plan covers inpatient hospitalisation and on-the-go access to OPD, diagnostics, second medical opinion, personalised health coaching and behavioural counselling, among others.

The plan offers a complimentary complete body check-up up to INR2500 ($39) per adult, diagnostics and cashless/reimbursement OPD coverage.
To offer additional benefits to its customers under the plan, the company has partnered with Practo, Goqii and 1mg.
The partnership will give insured up to 10 cashless or reimbursable OPD consultations with doctors on the Practo’s network, while health checks and diagnostics will be facilitated by 1mg.
Max Bupa managing director and CEO Ashish Mehrotra said: “With 1 in 5 Indians being plagued by lifestyle diseases, health insurance is not an option anymore. Over 60% of healthcare expenses in the country are still out of pocket and self-funded by customers.
