Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA), part of Marsh, has acquired Robins Insurance, an independent agency based in Nashville, Tennessee.

Financial details of the transaction were not revealed.

Robins Insurance, established in 1976, is known for its expertise in business and personal lines insurance.

The company serves clients in sectors including real estate, construction, hospitality, community associations and manufacturing.

The entire team at Robins, including CEO Van Robins, will continue operating from its Nashville office.

Robins said: “Today’s risk landscape continues to evolve, and it requires a unique perspective to truly protect clients from the unexpected. We are excited to tap into the vast network of MMA’s resources to bring superior solutions to clients in our footprint.”

The latest deal continues MMA’s recent acquisition spree.

In April, the company acquired Arthur Hall Insurance, a Pennsylvania-based agency.

Founded in 1966, Arthur Hall Insurance offers both commercial and personal insurance services to clients across the nation, with specialised offerings in the life sciences, information management, non-profit, craft beverage manufacturing and municipal sectors.

Earlier this year, MMA purchased Acumen Solutions Group, a Melville, New York-based insurance agency focused on the construction, real estate and aviation sectors.
