ITC Infotech and InsureMO have entered a partnership on the use of agentic AI to support insurance modernisation.

The initial emphasis will be on the Middle East, Africa and India, with a broader rollout to other markets planned later.

The arrangement links ITC Infotech’s K-Fabric framework, designed to coordinate autonomous AI agents across business processes, with InsureMO’s set of more than 2,500 atomic application programming interfaces (APIs) covering areas including policy administration, underwriting, claims, distribution and product configuration.

The two groups plan to jointly develop AI-based insurance tools, beginning with underwriting, as well as product configuration and claims workflow automation.

ITC Infotech CEO Manas Chakraborty said: “Insurers in high-growth markets need transformation at speed which can enable them to deliver results in months, not years.

“Our alliance with InsureMO provides a platform for our K-Fabric AI agents to operate natively across the insurance value chain, helping carriers deploy intelligent automation faster, with lower risk and cost than traditional modernisation programmes.”

InsureMO’s APIs are available in open, structured formats, meaning AI agents are able to find, invoke and combine them into functioning insurance applications.

As a result, K-Fabric’s agents can work with InsureMO’s platform without custom integrations or proprietary connectors.

The tie-up is aimed at insurers seeking to update operations and introduce products more quickly while avoiding the expense and disruption associated with replacing core legacy systems.

ITC Infotech’s Digital and AI Experience Centres in Bengaluru and Kolkata, India, together with its AI Studio in Pune, will be used as co-innovation sites for development and client validation.

The partnership takes effect immediately. Joint go-to-market activity across the Middle East, India and Africa is scheduled for 2026.

InsureMO chief revenue officer Rajat Sharma said: “ITC Infotech’s strength in the Middle East and India, combined with their K-Fabric AI framework, makes them an ideal partner to bring our platform to enterprises who want to modernise without disruption.

“Our APIs are designed so that any AI tool that can call an API can build on InsureMO. With ITC Infotech’s delivery capability and regional presence, we can now offer insurers a complete path from AI strategy to production deployment.”

In September last year, data analytics and AI company EXL partnered with InsureMO to help insurers update core systems, integrate AI and continue digital transformation.
