Texas-based life and health insurance products distributor Integrity Marketing Group has taken over Equis Financial, an insurance marketing organisation that serves independent insurance agents and agency builders.

The deal value was not revealed.

Both the parties are said to share several core values.

Asheville, North Carolina-based Equis was set up in 2015. The business delivers final expense, mortgage protection, college funding and retirement planning services.

The firm anticipates generating over $100m of annualised premium this year.

Equis employees along with partners Barry Clarkson, Rob Jones and Bill Martin will now become owners in Integrity.

Clarkson noted: “Joining Integrity was the easiest decision I’ve made in 40 years in this industry. We took Equis as far as we were capable of taking it.

“We are now part of a revolution taking place under the Integrity banner, giving us access to resources, products and marketing capabilities that we never could have obtained on our own.”

Integrity said that its partnership programme will be available to the Equis team on a variety of products leveraging sales tools and technology.

Besides, the deal is said to offer Equis increased resourcing in compliance, human resources, social media and marketing.

The firm’s employees will now be eligible for meaningful company ownership through the Employee Ownership Plan of Integrity.

Integrity co-founder and CEO Bryan Adams said: “As a platform, Integrity continues to focus on organic sales growth, growing by almost 30 percent organically last month alone, while we continue to add world-class partners during these challenging times.”
