Intelligent texting platform and insurtech Hi Marley has debuted enhanced features for insurance during hurricane and wildfire season.

Following disasters, Hi Marley customers can text and begin the insurance claim conversation. They can receive proactive notifications, submit a claim by texting responses to FNOL questions, have ecosystem partners in the conversation, and also do it in their native language.

New Hi Marley features include:

  • Proactive Notification: Carriers can let customers know about weather events and threats with real time updates;
  • Automated First Notification of Loss (FNOL): Automated FNOL helps insureds report their claims via text. In addition, all information can be given to claims handlers to help people get back on their feet. All necessary data and responses are uploaded automatically;
  • Ecosystem: 3rd party service partners are added into the insured’s text conversation, and
  • AutoTranslate: This feature allows for real-time translation on both ends of the conversation, so communication is easy.
