Rogue Risk, an independent insurance agency, has entered into a partnership with insurance start-up Obie on non-core, direct business.

Under the partnership, Rogue Risk will handle Obie’s non-core, direct business, excluding habitational coverages.

The start-up offers insurance for landlords and real estate investors, along with habitational insurance that is written by an internal agency and other property and casualty (P&C) solutions.

Most of the Obie’s business with customers is through embedded or affinity partner relationships that enable partners such as Rogue Risk to handle business.

Rogue Risk stated that as Obie’s affinity partner it will implement an end-to-end, SaaS solution to streamline the small business rate-quote-bind process.

Obie co-founder and COO Aaron Letzeiser said: “We are always looking for ways to expand our distribution channels and to improve the customer experience.
