American insurance broker firm Hub International has acquired the shares of Pointbreak Consulting Group for an undisclosed sum.

Headquartered in British Columbia, Pointbreak Consulting offers employee-benefits and pension consulting services.

Under the terms of the deal, Kevin Jeffrey, principal and CEO of Pointbreak, will join Hub TOS and report to Dave Terry, president of Hub TOS.

The acquisition is the latest in a series of deals inked by Hub. Earlier this month, the global insurance brokerage purchased Der Manouel Insurance & Financial Services, a California-based multi-line brokerage firm.

Recently, Hub also purchased the assets of Texas-based IPS Advisors, an independent life and health benefits brokerage and consulting firm.

Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, Hub International provides property and casualty, life and health, employee benefits, investment and risk management products and services from offices located across North America.
