US-based insurer Hanover Insurance Group has launched a new digital platform, dubbed Insurago, to enable independent agents to easily acquire new customers.

Powered by CoverWallet, the platform allows independent agents to place their individual website link on social media or agency website.

The platform also provides customers the flexibility to ask policy related questions to their agents and seek counselling at any time during buying process.

This tool is mainly launched for independent contractors, freelancers and self-employeed professionals who require professional liability insurance.

Using this tool, agents can acquire new customers including IT professionals, fitness professionals, consultants and healthcare professionals by directing them to the company’s website or social media channel.

Customers can view and print policies and download online insurance certificates in less than 15 minutes using this platform.
