
Hamilton Insurance Group has appointed Raymond Karrenbauer as its new group chief information officer (CIO), succeeding Venkat Krishnamoorthy.
Krishnamoorthy, who has been with Hamilton since 2019, will retire on 30 August.
Karrenbauer will be part of the company’s executive management team, with a reporting line to group CFO Craig Howie.
In the new role, Karrenbauer will be responsible for overseeing the company’s IT strategy.
Karrenbauer’s previously worked for the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Accreditation Body (The Cyber AB), where he held the positions of executive vice-president and CFO from 2021, and was also in charge of oversight for IT.
Before his role at The Cyber AB, Karrenbauer served as senior vice-president and CIO at IFG Companies, where he led digital transformation initiatives and core operations.

Last month, the company appointed Adrian Daws as the new CEO of Hamilton Re, replacing Megan Graves.
Alex Baker was appointed as CEO of Hamilton Global Specialty, succeeding Daws in the role.
