GloveBox rolls out new app to give consumers easy access to their insurance documents.

American insurance start-up GloveBox has introduced an insurance app that aggregates insurance documents irrespective of insurance carriers.

Available for iOS mobile devices, the mobile app pools aggregates insurance documents in one centralised location for easy policy document access.

GloveBox’s new app enables consumers to access their basic insurance information and reduces mundane service tasks for agencies.

GloveBox co-founder and CEO Ryan Mathisen said: “Our goal is to not only create a unified policy holder experience inclusive of all carriers for the consumer, but also to take care of our agency owners and carriers.

“By offering a simplified process and a positive client experience, GloveBox can help increase both revenue and client retention all while eliminating the requirement for additional staffing to help with those Tier 1 service tasks.”

At the outset, the GloveBox App will enable consumers to access auto identification cards and copies of policies. Subsequently, they will be given access to pay a bill, file a claim, check auto telematics, and endorse policy among others.

GloveBox App will initially focus on property and casualty policies including home, auto, umbrella, RV, motorcycle, etc.

Available for download through the iOS app store, GloveBox will be available for Android users in the coming months.
