Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance Company has appointed Nilesh Parmar as the new chief operating officer (COO) for operations and technology.
Parmar has over 20 years of experience in managing operations, systems and processes for large scale firms. He worked in HSBC for 18 years in various roles in operations and change management.

Parmar has been appointed COO in Edelweiss at a time when the company is in a transition phase.
Edelweiss Tokio Life chief executive officer Deepak Mittal said that with his expertise and experience, the company believes that Parmar’s appointment is a significant addition to the leadership capability.
"Nilesh’s guidance will enable us to enhance our services and leverage our focus on customer centricity. We are sure that our clients too will benefit immensely from his expertise," Mittal added.
Edelweiss Tokio Life is a joint venture between Edelweiss Capital and Tokio Marine Holdings.
