Vietnamese life insurer Bao Minh Insurance has signed an agreement with Singapore’s digital health start-up Doctor Anywhere to provide online healthcare services to its customers in Vietnam.
The collaboration will enable the seven million Bao Minh customers to avail the digital healthcare solutions from Doctor Anywhere.
Bao Minh’s customers will be able to access doctor video-consultation and medication delivery, online health along with wellness shopping marketplace.
Additionally, they can avail home-based healthcare and other services, all from one single platform of Doctor Anywhere.
Bao Minh’s customers can consult a Vietnamese doctor through video facility of their smartphone and order for medicines which will be delivered within three hours.
Bao Minh general director and board member Le Van Thành said: “Bao Minh is thrilled to be the pioneer in the Vietnam market to offer digital healthcare solutions as part of our insurance programmes.
“We are always on the lookout for innovative ways to improve our service quality. This collaboration with Doctor Anywhere will allow us to be well-positioned to meet the demands of the digital age in Vietnam.”
According to an estimate, there are 96 million people live in Vietnam, with a smartphone penetration rate of 84% in important cities.
In this context, the collaboration with Doctor Anywhere is a crucial milestone for Bao Minh in the healthcare ecosystem of Vietnam.
