The system is designed to promote automation, uniformity and standardisation across products.

The platform’s low-code configuration is expected to allow quicker product launches, while workflows guided by business rules are intended to strengthen operational efficiency and governance.

CZ chief information officer Peter Slager said: “We can deliver an improved service to our policyholders and gain greater speed in adapting to changing customer and market needs with Sapiens’ solutions.”

The system will also support improved digital interaction, enabling CZ to provide more personalised experiences to customers.

According to the company, the implementation is expected to help CZ lower operational expenses while improving access to high-quality and affordable healthcare.

Deloitte Consultative Services will act as the system integrator responsible for deploying the platform for CZ.

Sapiens said its software solutions aim to help insurers automate operations, enhance customer experience and reduce costs through digital insurance platforms.

Sapiens global P&C & reinsurance division chief customer officer Sveta Hardak-Nissan added: “Our partnership with CZ expands our presence in the Netherlands and we are leading with a SaaS [software-as-a-service] solution that is proven to meet the needs of major insurance companies across Europe.”

In December last year, private equity firm Advent International acquired Sapiens International in an all-cash deal valued at $2.5bn (NIS8.48bn).

The transaction, initially announced on 13 August 2025, received shareholder approval in November 2025 and was completed in December 2025 after obtaining regulatory approvals and meeting other customary closing conditions.

In another development in August last year, Bankers Insurance Group selected Sapiens CoreSuite for Property & Casualty to support its expansion plans.

The insurer sought to upgrade its technology infrastructure and broaden its presence in new states and business segments, beginning with builder’s risk and business owner’s policy.
