Cytora, a digital risk processing platform, has teamed up with AISIX Solutions, a provider of wildfire climate data, to integrate advanced wildfire intelligence into its platform.

This collaboration allows commercial insurers to access current wildfire risk data, addressing climate change concerns and new regulations that require disclosure of climate risk exposure.

AISIX’s Wildfire 3.0 models deliver risk information based on geographic data and historical fire activity.

Provided through an application programming interface (API), the data enables real-time integration into underwriting systems and complies with climate disclosure frameworks like TCFD and ISSB.

This equips underwriters with insights to assess risks for individual submissions and portfolios, supporting faster and clearer underwriting decisions.

Cytora COO Juan de Castro said: “Climate risk factors are increasingly becoming critical components in insurance underwriting. Through our partnership with Aisix, we are making it easier for insurers to embed the latest wildfire insights directly into their workflows, empowering smarter and faster decisions with access to the most advanced data and insights available.”

The partnership aims to provide underwriters with up-to-date insights for both individual insurance submissions and entire portfolios.

Aisix Solutions CEO Mihalis Belantis stated: “This partnership with Cytora will give insurers the clarity and foresight needed to make informed, strategic and sustainable underwriting decisions. As wildfire events increase in frequency and intensity, the ability to quickly assess risk at the asset level is vital.

“We are delighted to be working together in helping insurers build resilience in an increasingly complex risk environment.”

Cytora recently collaborated with Chubb and launched a new version of its platform that incorporates agentic AI to enhance risk assessment and underwriting processes.

Last month, Cytora partnered with Vāyuh, an AI-powered weather analytics company, to improve property insurance underwriting with advanced data and technology.
