Covéa Insurance has partnered with digital veterinary clinic FirstVet to help pet gets required medical attention during the Covid-19 lockdown.

The partnership enables Covéa customers to receive free on-demand video appointments with vets using their mobile devices.

In order to avail the service, the customers are required to download the FirstVet app and set up an account. They can make use of the use of the video appointment service as often as is required, reported Insurance Edge.

It will help pet owners to digitally meet with qualified local veterinarians while staying home during the lockdown.

Covéa Pet head Ian Bubb said: “We recognise that during these uncertain times that customers with pets may need additional support to help them care for their animals, and we believe the FirstVet app will help to provide customers with peace of mind and allow them to get advice quickly.

“We’re pleased to partner with FirstVet to deliver this valuable service to our customers.”
