Conduit Holdings Limited, the parent company of Conduit Re, has appointed William Randolph as its new chief risk officer (CRO).  

Based in Bermuda, Randolph will lead the enterprise risk management function for Conduit Re. 

Randolph’s industry experiences spans across the Bermuda and London markets, where he has held various senior roles.  

His career includes previous positions as CRO at both Relm Insurance and Validus Re, as well as senior actuarial roles at other reinsurance companies. 

Randolph said: “I am excited to join Conduit Re with the mandate to lead and advance its risk management strategy.  

“I look forward to partnering with the leadership team who are committed to strengthening the company’s risk and capital management framework and operations.”

In his new position, Randolph will join Conduit Re’s executive leadership team and report directly to CEO Neil Eckert.  

Eckert said: “William is extremely well-respected in the industry, with a deep understanding of enterprise risk management strategies.  

“His leadership, technical knowledge and expertise will be invaluable in enhancing our risk function, and reinforces Conduit Re’s commitment to maintaining the highest standard of governance.” 

Eckert was appointed as CEO this May, having been serving as the interim CEO since March 2025 following the departure of Trevor Carvey. 

In May, the company also confirmed the interim appointment of Rebecca Shelley as non-executive chair.  

Concurrently, Ken Randall was designated as senior independent director.
