CGI has signed an agreement to develop and deliver digital services for OP Financial Group’s insurance operations.

This agreement bolsters the long-term application development and management partnership between the two firms going back to 2013.

OP Financial Group executive vice president for development & technologies Juho Malmberg said: “High-quality and reliable technology services are crucial for delivering an excellent customer and employee experience.

“CGI has proven to be an IT partner that understands our digital business needs and is able to meet them.”

Since 2013, the partnership between the two firms has grown to include over 600 CGI professionals working for OP Financial Group.

Out of these professionals, over 300 of them work in close proximity with their counterparts in OP in Finland, with the remaining supporting coming from global delivery centers of CGI.
