Certua, a UK-based financial technology firm, has introduced its Enterprise Insurance platform to give companies access to its full service platform via API.

The solution is designed to allow insurers to looking to distribute new insurance products to get to market quickly.

It will also enable insurers to access new digital markets by removing technological barriers to entry, the company said.

Insurtech firm Sherpa will be the first distribution partner to use Certua’s Enterprise Insurance platform, in a association with reinsurer Gen Re and manufacturer Scottish Friendly.

The platform will facilitate the creation and distribution of modern, dynamic and adaptable insurance products.

It will also offer rates, recommendations, underwriting and claims rule-sets, as well as compliant documentation and digital payment methods.

In April 2017, Certua announced plans to launch a UK robo-life insurer.
