
Brightstone Specialty Group, part of Highstreet Insurance Partners, has acquired RMS Hospitality Group (RMS HG) and its sister company Fortis Risk Solutions.
Financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed.
RMS HG, a programme administrator for insurance in the hospitality sector, provides insurance solutions for businesses including quick service restaurants, casual dining establishments, live entertainment venues, and various types of bars and nightclubs.
Additionally, the company offers claims management services through its third-party administrator, Fortis Risk Solutions.
Brightstone CEO Scott Goodreau stated: “We are thrilled to have the RMS HG and Fortis teams join Brightstone as we continue to build a platform for recognised specialty insurance innovators and leaders who focus on providing tailored services and solutions in our communities throughout the United States.
“Increasing our offerings and expertise in the hospitality industry with this acquisition will further allow Brightstone to provide our customers with the competitive and comprehensive insurance coverage we are known for.”

Brightstone operates through specialty services and underwriting divisions.
In December 2024, the company purchased DMI Insurance Services and its sister company South Valley Claims.
Set up in 1962, DMI is an insurance programme administrator with a focus on the independent automotive dealer industry.
Earlier this year, its parent company, Highstreet Insurance, acquired Winder Insurance Centre, a company handling commercial real estate, professional and contractor risks.
