Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has launched a group personal accident and business travel insurance product in the UK.
The company noted that the policy is available to companies of all sizes and covers domestic and international business travel.
It includes real‑time risk alerts and traveller tracking, emergency response services provided by Healix International, and virtual services for UK‑based employees covered under a Group Personal Accident policy via Teladoc Health UK.
Teladoc’s services comprise 24‑hour general practitioner (GP) access, expert second medical opinion and a 24‑hour mental health helpline.
BHSI UK Accident and Health head Toni LePine will lead the product line, while Tom Keeble will take on the role of senior underwriter, accident and health.
The UK launch extends BHSI’s accident and health (A&H) operations beyond North America, New Zealand, Australia, Asia and the Middle East.
