Beneva, a mutual insurance company in Canada, has transitioned its core insurance operations to the Guidewire cloud platform to streamline operations.
The company has implemented Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter to enhance underwriting, policy administration, billing management and IT operations.
The migration, which began with personal lines of business, will also enable faster adaptation to evolving market conditions and improve the overall customer experience, the tech vendor claims.
Beneva is currently in the process of migrating Guidewire products for its commercial lines of business, with plans to complete the project by transitioning its brokerage-based operations.
Beneva information technology property and casualty and corporate services vice-president Éric Marcoux said: “We are confident that by updating Guidewire Cloud Platform three times a year, we will be able to quickly derive business value from using products and features such as Autopilot Workflow Service, Guidewire Data Studio, Guidewire Explore and Guidewire Jutro Digital Platform that are only available on Guidewire Cloud Platform.”
The transition follows the company’s earlier migration of Guidewire ClaimCenter to the cloud in 2023, making Beneva a full Guidewire InsuranceSuite customer on the Guidewire Cloud Platform.
