US company Bamboo Insurance has begun offering homeowners coverage in Texas.
The company, which already operates in California, noted that it has continued to serve the state after a number of other carriers withdrew.
Bamboo will apply its approach to underserved and disrupted markets in Texas and intends to provide personalised home insurance products tailored to individual needs.
The company is set to introduce its “here for good” approach in Texas, aiming to offer homeowners an accessible insurance service.
Bamboo Insurance CEO John Chu said: “We have always believed that insurance should be simple, transparent, and, most importantly, human.
“In California, we have been there for our customers when others walked away, and we are proud to bring that same commitment to Texas.
