AXA Partners, part of AXA Group, and insurtech company bolttech have teamed up to roll out new embedded insurance and assistance solutions across the EU, the UK and Switzerland.  

The tie-up aims to broaden the range of business-to-business-to-consumer (B2B2C) insurance and assistance offerings, covering various sectors such as motor, travel, home, credit and lifestyle protection within the AXA Group. 

The collaboration will leverage bolttech’s expertise as an insurtech company and provider of insurance and technology solutions, including device protection. 

It is expected to create new business opportunities, facilitating upsell and cross-sell possibilities for business partners. 

AXA Partners chief customer & strategy officer Gunter Uytterhoeven said: “Together with bolttech, AXA now offers the widest range of insurance solutions for B2B2C distribution in the EU, UK and Switzerland markets.  

“Such a wide offer, in combination of AXA and bolltech’s insurance orchestration platform capabilities, is truly unique. Generating more revenue from insurance distribution while providing greater value to customers, this is our promise to our corporate partners.” 

The strategy behind this alliance is to forge relationships with insurance carriers, managing general agents, reinsurers and distribution partners.  

The target verticals for these relationships include financial services, original equipment manufacturers, retail, telecommunications, travel and utilities.

Recently, bolttech partnered with LOOP, the digital banking platform of NCBA Bank, to offer Kenyan consumers a way to finance and insure their electronic devices.
