The new service, according to the company, will allow users to instantly report instances of suspicious fraudulent activity. They will also be offered by the company personal guidance on what action they can take.
The newly launched platform will enable users to report any suspicious contact which looks to be from Aviva, which could be either in person, or by post, email, call, or even text.
Every reported incident will be probed by the company’s financial crime intelligence unit.
The online scam reporting service has been particularly launched to counter the sudden surge in attempted scams faced by consumers following the Covid-19 outbreak.
