Through the new five-year agreement, Zensar becomes a preferred IT provider, expanding upon the service relationship with Assurant Health that began in 2005.
Assurant Health chief information officer, Chris Dowler, said: "We are happy to announce that as part of this new five-year engagement, Zensar will assist Assurant Health in implementing the infrastructure necessary to comply with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act,"
"Working with Zensar we can increase productivity and enhance the value of our investments in Assurant Health IT initiatives," Dowler added.
The Assurant Health, a subsidiary of Assurant Inc., provides medical insurance products for individuals and their families; and group medical insurance products for small companies.
